Feast of St. Janyl 2026
24 August 2026. Every year more than 150,000 pilgrims come to our city for the Feast. The City Hall asks all guests to follow these arrangements. updated
Parking
Private cars may not drive up the Cathedral Hill road from 22 to 25 August. Park in the fields of the Lower Town by the four bridges (signs "P - Ziyarat") and take the free pilgrims' marshrutkas up the hill, every 5 minutes from 04:00. Buses from Talas and Tash-Kömür stop at the bazaar.

Please Remember
- Do not stand in the sun without a hat. Drink water.
- No drones over Cathedral Hill.
- No photography in the church during services.
- Keep the road clear for ambulances.
